{"id":657,"date":"2021-03-24T17:35:57","date_gmt":"2021-03-24T16:35:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cent.uo.edu.cu\/cbm\/?page_id=657"},"modified":"2021-03-24T17:42:32","modified_gmt":"2021-03-24T16:42:32","slug":"657-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cent.uo.edu.cu\/cbm\/657-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Nuestro Centro"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em><strong>El Centro de Biof\u00edsica M\u00e9dica es un centro de investigaci\u00f3n, adscrito a la Universidad de Oriente y subordinado al Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n Superior .Fundado el 10 de febrero de 1993 por nuestro l\u00edder hist\u00f3rico el Comandante en Jefe, Fidel Castro Ruz.<\/strong> <strong>El CBM es una entidad de ciencia e innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica cubana dedicada a la investigaci\u00f3n y desarrollo de alta tecnolog\u00eda, dirigido especialmente al campo de la biomedicina, pionero en la investigaci\u00f3n y el desarrollo de dispositivos m\u00e9dicos en Cuba. Su principal logro es haber dise\u00f1ado y construido los primeros equipos de Resonancia Magn\u00e9tica de Im\u00e1genes, \u00fanicos equipos de su tipo desarrollados por un pa\u00eds latinoamericano en \u00e9poca tan temprana como el a\u00f1o 1990. A partir de esta d\u00e9cada, lanz\u00f3 el primer sistema de RMN dise\u00f1ado y fabricado en Cuba: el Relax\u00f3metro Giromag y, un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s tarde, el primer esc\u00e1ner de RMN de cuerpo entero de campo bajo Giroimag.
